The GLENN TADINA BAND has been playing the Portland Metro and Mid-Willamette Valley areas since the early fifties. Musicians in the band are from the Portland, Beaverton, Vancouver and Salem areas.

Although SWING STREET GLENN TADINA BAND plays more for dance engagements, the band has performed concerts at state and county fairs, summer festival concerts, and theatre concerts.

We play a good variety of dance music including, Foxtrot, waltz, East and West Coast Swing, rhumba, tango, cha-cha, Bossa Nova, Tango, and others. We do some Rock and will even throw in a Polka or two on requsts.

Our playbook includes music of many of the Big Bands, such as Glenn Miller, Tommy & Jimmy Dorsey, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Stan Kenton, Ted Heath, and many others.

My male vocalist likes to sing our special band arrangements for Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, and Nate "King" Cole. For our female vocalist, we have special arrangements of Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Diane Schurr, Linda Ronstadt, and Doris Day.

We offer several different bands to fit your dancing and entertainment pleasures:
4 or 5-piece combo
7-piece Swing Band
7-piece Dixieland Band
Up to a 16-piece Big Band
All are available with optional male or female vocalists

Whether you are planning a corporate or private party event, dinner-dance, anniversary or wedding reception, we can fill your musical needs. We are also available for Dance Clubs, Elks Lodges and Country Clubs. We also supply light background music for a dinner or special receptions.
